Originally designed as a "spec" home to sale for our long time custom home builder client (Sterling Classic Homes), they loved the home so much after completion decided not to sell, and instead made it their own. The home sits on a golf course lot in the prestigious gated Pine Island section of the Woodforest Development in Montgomery County just north of Houston.  We designed the plan so that virtually every main room had views to the back, starting with the great room's giant butted glass window, the galley style gourmet kitchen topped off with the leisure "club room" and it's retractable glass wall door system opening onto the hand crafted wood clad cathedral ceiling veranda complete with an outdoor fireplace and summer kitchen. The home is simply beautiful, down to every fine detail,  from the flow of the floor plan design, to each custom finish. Many of our clients at the time visited this home during the parade of homes tour, one of the several homes displayed yet everyone commented "THIS IS THE ONE". Words like "impeckable, incredible, truly custom, very well thought out, luxurious," and the one we heard most was, "I COULD LIVE HERE"! And who couldn't, it's just that one of a kind home that fits, pushes every button and makes you say "AWE", so much so the builder simply couldn't part with themselves.
